Same here. I have COMPUTERNAME set to different values on different
computers, so my init file contains
(cond ((string= (getenv "COMPUTERNAME") "home")
... home computer specific stuff ...)
((string= (getenv "COMPUTERNAME") "office")
... office computer specific stuff ...)
((string= (getenv "COMPUTERNAME") "netbook")
... netbook specific stuff ...))
