Subject: Window Position of Auto Selected Article in 'gnus'
Date: Thu, 16 Feb 2006 09:21:29 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <87psln9yfq.fsf@be.cs.appstate.edu> (raw)
[I originally posted this in early Dec in gnu.emacs.gnus. Since that
group is essentially useless due to spam, I am reposting it here. -khj]
I've been looking through the documentation, but couldn't find an
answer to a current "need" ...
I believe there is a way to have 'gnus' position the first unread
article in a summary buffer at the *top* of the window. Currently,
point is positioned at the first article, but it usually ends up
mid-window. I'd rather have the buffer display that first line at the
top (#0) position ...
I'm sure a simple 'setq' will do it, just don't know which variable!
Thanks,
