Subject: How to get `item in directory' count in dired
Date: Thu, 14 Feb 2008 00:01:44 -0600 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <87prv0dqk7.fsf@newsguy.com> (raw)
How can I have a permanent item count in the directory view. Maybe in
the mode line or something.
I want to see how many files/directories are in the dired buffer at a glance
without keyboard cmds or other effort.
