In byte compiling a file, I'm told that
--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
`browse-url-mozilla-program' is an obsolete variable
(as of 29.1).
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---
There is however no indication of what to use in its place. Does anyone
know?
Colin Baxter.

The Mozilla Application Suite[^1] project has been discontinued since
2006. You should definitely stop using it any more.

The variable was changed by commit
86dc875bf590c33d255af04d4e3249db05fca65d which included the
addition to the NEWS file:
| This support has been obsolete since Emacs 25.1. The final version of
| the Galeon web browser was released in September, 2008.
| +---
| +*** Support for the "Mozilla" web browser is now obsolete.
| +Note that this historical web browser is different from Mozilla
| +Firefox; it is its predecessor.
| +
| ** Ruby Mode
| ---
So you should (probably) look at the browse-*-firefox func-
tions and variables.
