Something like this: XTerm.VT100.Translations: #override \ Delete: string(0x1B) string("[3~") \n\ Ctrl Up: string(0x1B) string("abcde") The above goes in ~/.Xdefaults or ~/.Xresources. It tells xterm to send ESC [ 3 ~ to the app when you press delete and, well, the rest should be obvious. Does it work? Kai
