How to disable it? I want text editor like others: edit text files, but when I edit text files, it create #fileName.txt# and fileName.txt~. I can't find an option to disable this feature. Please answer or fix/add option.

Don't the usual Emacs ways of disabling auto-save or turning on
auto-save-visited-mode for #foo#, and disabling backup files by
setting make-backup-files to nil, work?
