Greetings list,
When getting help on a variable (C-h v), emacs opens a new
window. When I close that window, the original window layout is
lost. Try this: C-x 2 to split. Then C-h v <whatever>. Then quit the
Help buffer. There is only a single window left. How would I go about
restoring the previous window layout when quitting help? Frankly, C-x
4 o <Enter> is a bit long for me....
Regards,
Jan Seeger
