Subject: How to stop a new frame being generated?

I'm using emacs 24.4.50.4 and tabbar-mode, and sometimes when I move to a
different tab, it spawns a new frame which is not wanted. How can I get it to
just stay in one frame all the time please?

Thanks
Sharon.
