Hi,
Has any one been able to run emacs natively (not through ssh) on the Google
Android platform? or iPhone.
My Android vs iPhone decision depends on that :) .

The GOTO-Answer would be that you can install debian on the android. [1]
(Concurrently with the standard android OS)
You then either ssh to localhost to run emacs in a terminal or you use a
local vnc-client (to circumvent the need for X drivers) and connect to
the installed debian.
