I'm using the "tabbar" program from ELPA to manage all my tabs, and on
this new computer [64bit] the main mode tabs are all over the place, with
no discernible pattern to it. Previously, on my old 32bit computer they were
in alphabetical order, which is what I want. How can I achieve this
please?

Thinking about it, the vast majority of my ELPA programmes were
downloaded and installed on my 32bit computer. Is it possible for them to
not function correctly on a 64bit computer, until they are re-compiled?
If this is so, how can I do a 'mass re-compile' without having to enter
each ELPA programme one by one please?

Thanks
Sharon.
