Hello,

I have tried to M-x package-install RET elfeed-org RET
but it returns:

package-compute-transaction: Package ‘org-8.2.7’ is unavailable

What could have gone wrong since I already have org-mode installed
?

"GNU Emacs 26.0.50 (build 1, i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version
3.18.9) of 2017-09-07"
Org Version: "9.0.10"

Regards

Exactly this happens to me as well.

Built-in, even.

(By the way, what does it mean when a pack is
"built-in"? Is it just another Elisp file only
it has some additional metadata to communicate
with the package manager?)

GNU Emacs 24.4.1 (arm-unknown-linux-gnueabihf,
GTK+ Version 3.14.5) of 2015-03-10 on bm-wb-01,
modified by Debian

Have you tried "M-x package-refresh-contents"? That's something I forget
more often than I care to admit.

Otherwise, you could always download and load that version manually.
