What's "mobile org"?

I was confused by the same question, and then I opted another way.
I use Orgzly instead of MobileOrg as Android Org editor and Syncthing as
a synchronizer between PC and Android phone.
Syncthing is P2P sync tool that does not require centralized cloud
service, as long as the endpoints are accessible from each other.
You just link the Org directory on your phone and PC, Syncthing will
sync the two for you...
Is that acceptable for you?
Danny

I tried many methods and nothing works better than installing Termux
on the Android device and setting up Emacs the same as you have on
your PC. It takes a bit of time but then you have a nearly identical
working environment. You can easily sync with rsync to USB if you get
one of those OTG cables. A cloud service like strongspace.com (free
1GB accounts) is better but if you don't want to use the cloud there
are other ways, like the P2P connection mentioned by Danny.

This depdends very much, what you exactly want to sync. Calendar?
Todos? Other things?
For calendar and tasks I use org-caldav (my own grauschnabel fork),
together with an nextcloud server and I sync it with DAVdroid, using the
opentasks app for the tasks, for calendar you can use any native
calendar
if you want to sync more than that, the other answers are useful.
