AFAIK the latest version is the one in the SourceForge CVS repository,
see <http://emhacks.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/emhacks/emhacks/>.
Revision 1.69 (tabbar-version 2.0) is the latest bug fix revision, so it
is the most stable tabbar.el available.
