Subject: retaining font-lock when inserting dir in dired
Date: Tue, 26 Sep 2006 15:07:18 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <873baecryh.fsf@patagonia.sebmags.homelinux.org> (raw)
Hi,
Whenever a directory is inserted in the current dired buffer, using 'i',
the font-locking (.e.g. folders and files showing in different colors) of
the parent directories are lost. Only the inserted directory shows proper
font-locking. This makes reading quite hard. Does anybody know how to
retain the font-locking across the entire dired buffer?
Cheers,

Seb
