I have just upgraded to emacs22. But when I make an error in my .emacs
file it disappears to quickly (after a few seconds). In emacs 21 it
stayed until I closed emacs.
Is there someway to change emacs22 to this kind of behavior?

Run emacs with the --debug-init option if you have an error in your
.emacs.
