I've got diary-mail-address set to my riseup.net address and
diary-mail-days set to the default of 7.
When I try M-x diary-mail-entries I get:
post: no mailbox in address, only a phrase (July 18,) July 18, continuing...
Thursday: loses; [USER] 550 Invalid recipient: <Thursday@eddie.fios-router.home>
2024: loses; [USER] 550 Invalid recipient: <2024@eddie.fios-router.home>
post: 1 address unparsable, 2 addressee undeliverable
send: message not delivered to anyone
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Are you sure it should not be diary-mail-addr (not -address)?
In any case, I had a look at the value of diary-mail-addr for me and it
has been set to a local (i.e. for my machine alone) email address but
tells me that the original value was something else (which was a valid
external address). Something has changed the value, not me (I've
searched my init files).
Nevertheless, diary-mail-entries works for me.

That looks like an error from the nmh utility "post", and not
something from Emacs.
You probably need to check how Emacs is invoking post and
populating the arguments (and perhaps confirm if you want to be
using post at all).
