Inconsistent and incomplete documentation isn't
a big deal?

I always thought the HTML and PDF versions were
automatically compiled from the Texinfo source.

If they are, such a discrepancy as this is
a very interesting bug!

If they aren't, we are bound to see a lot of
these things in our remaining days so perhaps
we *should* start thinking of them
as unimportant...
