When I active ecb, emacs cannot truncate long lines in the main
buffer. But text in ecb's buffers can be truncated. And when I deactive ecb,
the text in main buffer get truncated rightly without any configuration
change.
Who can help me? Thank you very much.

There are two variables, truncate-lines and
truncate-partial-width-windows. Perhaps they have different values
in your configuration?
