Well, it is a thought to read the documentation that way, and have the whole program file in a single buffer, which operates like a regular file and doesn't disappear when you do something else or bring something else up thru some interface which you aren't that apt with... But after doing `C-x n w', and even `text-mode' on top of that, you still have to disable `read-only-mode' in order to edit it. And no one has suggested that. So you hear me loud and clear out there?
