Apperently there is a new form of Internet chat
called Gitter. Why one cannot simply use IRC,
only Jehovah knows. Still, if one wants to use
it (Gitter) from Emacs to get to certain chat
rooms not available on IRC, or not with the
same participation at least, has anyone managed
to do this?

I see this:

    https://irc.gitter.im

and this:

    https://github.com/xuchunyang/gitter.el

The IRC/Gitter solution is probably better 'cuz
then one could just use ERC as per usual.

PS. What is the ".im" TLD? Isle of Man!
But I think here it is "Instant Messaging".
