But yes, I see the reason for having this (tick for "important, read later", "important" for "read, contains material I want to return to so I'd like to keep it"), and it shouldn't be that difficult to do. On would need a variable ~"gnus-summary-always-show", and articles that have a mark that is in that list, should by shown by default. Then one would have yet another variable, ~"gnus-summary-ignore-always-show" to inhibit it :) -- underground experts united http://user.it.uu.se/~embe8573
