I'm trying to install emacs-21.3 again in fedora, and i get the
following error when i do make:
Loading vc-hooks...
Loading ediff-hook...
((51650 . 15322) (8352 . 0) (511 . 55) 72123 134860 (14 . 9) (21 . 0)
(7136 . 1432))
Finding pointers to doc strings...
Finding pointers to doc strings...done
Wrote /home/xeon/emacs-21.3/lib-src/fns-21.3.1.el
Dumping under names emacs and emacs-21.3.1
make[1]: *** [emacs] Segmentation fault
make[1]: *** Deleting file `emacs'
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/xeon/emacs-21.3/src'
make: *** [src] Error 2
I also get the same error to emacs-21.4. What should i do?

Probably the exec-shield nuisance. Try googling for that.
