is it possible to create vc-create-snapshot for CVS from emacs editor ?

Maybe for CVS it's sufficient to just use tags and/or branches.

Emacs 21 comes with PCL-CVS (try M-x cvs-update RET on a CVS working
directory) which makes things convenient, I find.
