Hello,
When calling `M-x magit-status' (on a Git-controlled directory, on my
Windows machine), I get:
--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
magit-get-top-dir: d:/cygdrive/d/Users/sva/org/ isn't an existing directory
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---
Any idea where to specifically look for? Thanks...
I do have the package `cygwin-mount' installed, but I do not call
`cygwin-mount-activate' in my Emacs...

I believe cygwin-mount does it thing via expand-file-name, so I'm
guessing some call to expand-file-name is missing somehere in magit.

I have no idea what that means (I don't use Cygwin and cygwin-mount),
but in general, you have no chance of supporting Cygwin applications
from a native Windows Emacs without using cygwin-mount, which probably
includes activating it.
