Is there a simple way to print a buffer to file instead to printer?

ps-spool-buffer creates a new buffer "*PostScript*", that you can save
into a file.

Yes.  For ps-print, invoke it with an argument, it will then ask for a
file name.

How? M-x ps-print has no completition available.
