The version shows "GNU Emacs 24.1.50.1 (i386-mingw-nt6.1.7601) of 2012-04-30 on MARVIN". Sometimes, the file completion with C-x C-f <type partial name> TAB does not work. The message buffer says Making completion list... [2 times] Assertion failed: (string-prefix-p prefix completion) Typing more characters helps, but it may stuck again at the next expansion.
