Subject: Problem with just-installed Emacs on Mac OS X
Date: Thu, 24 Feb 2005 21:21:07 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <81056ed0f775080cabf6f0980d170037@mac.com> (raw)
When I launch Emacs, it complains and asks me to start up with
emacs --debug-init
When I do, I get:
Debugger entered--Lisp error: (file-error "Opening directory" "no such
file or directory"
"/Applications/Emacs.app/Contents/Resources/site-lisp")
directory-files("/Applications/Emacs.app/Contents/Resources/site-lisp")

(let ((current-default-directory default-directory)) (setq
default-directory site-lisp-directory)

"/Applications/Emacs.app/Contents/Resources/site-lisp"))
(unless (boundp (quote darwinp)) (load-local-site-start

Any advice would be appreciated. Please cc the reply to me, since I
receive the digest, and would be happy to make progress soon.
Thanks,
MK
