Hello,
Due to a Cygwin upgrade, my svn client has been upgraded from v1.6 to v1.7
(just released, in October 2011).
Since then, I've been forced to do an upgrade of all my SVN working copies, as
suggested when launching `C-x v d':
svn: E155036: Please see the 'svn upgrade' command
svn: E155036: Working copy '/cygdrive/c/home/sva/Project' is too old
(format 10, created by Subversion 1.6)
Though, one effect is that all hidden `.svn' folders are just removed from all
the project subdirectories. Only one at the top level is conserved.
That said, now, vc-dir does not identify anymore which VC backend is in use --
I guess, because of the above.
There is one workaround for telling Emacs which backend to use, by pressing
`C-u C-x v d'.
But `vc-ediff' does not work anymore. Is there some robust workaround to this?
Best regards,
Seb
