Or must I = M-x=20 edit-tab-stops each session? 2: I'm not too clear on how tabs are working. If I edit-tab-stops from 8 = characters to 5 for the first tab stop and then use C-f it will traverse = all=20 5 spaces for the first tab stop -- however, it will jump all 8 spaces at = the=20 same time at the next (unedited) tab stop. Are edited tab stops akin to=20 untabifying tabs (i.e. literal spaces)? I have the O'reilly GNU emacs = book=20 but his section isn't very helpful... thanks. best wishess, Todd --=20 =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D Todd Wylie Bioinformatics Genome Sequencing Center Washington University=20 School of Medicine 4444 Forest Park Boulevard St. Louis, MO 63108 twylie@watson.wustl.edu =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D =20 _______________________________________________ Help-gnu-emacs mailing list Help-gnu-emacs@gnu.org http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/help-gnu-emacs
