I would like to maximize my Emacs on startup. I did find:
  (defun fullscreen ()
    (interactive)
    (x-send-client-message nil 0 nil "_NET_WM_STATE" 32
	    		 '(2 "_NET_WM_STATE_FULLSCREEN" 0)))

But that does a fullscreen, which loses the taskbar. Is there a way to
do a maximize instead of a fullscreen?
