Half of them are obtainable by:

(global-font-lock-mode 1)

in your .emacs.  The other half is more complicated:  Which mode,
exactly, do you want bold {s and }s in?  You would have to add entries to
that mode's font-lock-something-or-other.  It's murky and time consuming.
