Hi,

I have an issue with shell buffers killing my other windows content.
The issue might be a pure Emacs issue, but it might also be related to
the Emacs+EDE combo.
Yet, before posting to the EDE list, let me please ask here.

Within Emacs+EDE one can run code using 'C-c . R' from within on the
project's modules (say main.cc).

This pops up a new window on the Emacs frame showing the output of the
code in a 'Shell' major mode window. The corresponding buffer is named
*EDE Shell v2*. So far so good.

My problem start when I try to do this several times.
Then, the output of the code will not only be shown in the window which
popped up prior, but the *EDE Shell v2* buffer will consecutively
replace the content of windows previously displaying other buffers,
until all of the Emacs frame is filled with windows displaying only the
*EDE Shell v2* buffers.

How can I force the *EDE Shell v2* buffer to display/update in only
*one* window?

Thx., Mark
