Subject: Emacs ignores make-backup-files when editing file under RCS (?)
Date: 9 Oct 2002 09:12:54 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <501727be.0210090812.1db8c807@posting.google.com> (raw)

Hi - When I edit a file which is under RCS control, Emacs (20.4)
ignores the fact that I have set make-backup-files true. This is
annoying, because I like to diff my changes after working on an
important file. Is there an easy work-around?
Thanks
/j
