Hi,

I have been annoyed by emacs23's bracket matching behavior: when saving
with unmatched bracket's, cursor jumps to the first unmatching left
bracket without returning to where i was editing, Is this a behavior that
I can toggle with?

Thanks,
Yuan

Hi,

can't reproduce that with regard to saving.

That kind of things happens from M-x check-parens here.

Maybe a hook calls that at your Emacs?

Protect against with a C-space setting the mark before.

HTH,

Andreas
