nXhtml is perhaps a bad name for the package. It contains a lot of
different modes. One of them is nxhtml-mumamo for editing xhtml. Another
is html-mumamo for editing html.
But with both of these you can edit php code.
Did you run into any special problem when you tried to edit php code?
