Subject: Title of Emacs Window on remote machine changed?
Date: Sun, 22 Apr 2007 14:58:47 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <462B5C07.30308@physik.hu-berlin.de> (raw)

Hello,

I sometimes use emacs via X forwarding on a remote machine on the
institute, just to ensure that everything I changed at home works there.
Normally I could distinguish the Emacs Window from the one which runs on
my local machine by the XWindow Title, it is ther emacs@blbabla and at
home its emacs@localhost. But I suppose the sysadmin has changed
something, and now when I do X forwarding, the title of the remote emacs
window is "Pete's Latschen" ??? Is that kind of a joke? What has the
Sysadmin changed, should I contact him?

Greetz,
Chris
