I'm using the JDE development environment with emacs.  When I open a
.java file in a fresh instance of emacs, it activates the mode "JDE
Abbrev", and most (all?) of the JDE functionality is missing.  When I
specify a .java file on the command-line, it and all future .java files
for that session open with the full JDE and the mode "JDE S/plugin/jdb
Abbrev".  Does anyone know what could cause that?
