Subject: Win32 CUA-mode: copy & paste unexpected behaviuor
Date: Tue, 08 Feb 2005 21:14:34 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <36sksuF4qg1vbU1@individual.net> (raw)

Hi,
     I'm using CUA-mode + pc-selection-mode and it works very well - thank you Kin Storm :-) .
Anyway, I get a strange behaviour: if I:
- select the text "hello";
- press C-c (copy);
- select the text "goodbye";
- press C-v (paste);
the text "goodbye" is replaced by "hello" as expected, but if I continue
and:
- select the text "cheers";
- press C-v (paste);
the text "cheers" is not replaced by "hello" as expected, but by
"goodbye" (anyway "hello" is in the kill ring). This is not how copy and
paste should work under Windows...

     Is there a way to get the expected behaviour?

Thanks in advance.
