Message-ID: <2jftchF105400U1@uni-berlin.de> (raw)
There are several sorts of binaries for NT Emacs 21.3 (for Windows) on
ftp.gnu.org/gnu/windows/emacs/. One package is called
emacs-21.3-bin-i386.tar.gz, another is emacs-21.3-fullbin-i386.tar.gz and
still another emacs-21.3-barebin-i386.tar.gz.
There's no readme, so could you pse tell me what the difference between bin,
fullbin and barebin is?
(btw the GNU Emacs FAQ For Windows
http://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/windows/ntemacs.html still points to
http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/windows/emacs/latest which does no longer exist. It
also says that latest version of Emacs is 21.2 while it is 21.3)
Thank you, Paul
