i'm running NTemacs 21.2 and running a dos program that generates
output. In a regular command prompt window the output is replaced as
it is updated, but in the NTemacs process buffer the output is added
and a "^M" character is appended. How can I replicate the performace
of the DOS command in the DOS command prompt window in NTemacs?

Try typing "C-x RET c dos RET" before you start the process under
NTEmacs.
