Does emacs provide the ability to inline buffers?
In principle, you could have a buffer that contains a
concatenation of indirect buffers. I don't know if something like
http://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/MultipleModes allows this or not.
Is this pushing the limits of emacs too far?
This would be useful in org mode to gather together information
from different files and edit them in place, rather like the way grep
mode allows.
