I am trying to build emacs 28 on debian bullseye, but make gives me following error:
----
Symbol's function definition is void: eieio-defclass-autoload
make[1]: *** [Makefile:849: bootstrap-emacs.pdmp] Error 255
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/user/emacs/src'
make: *** [Makefile:449: src] Error 2
----

Would appreciate any advice on how to figure out what is going wrong.

The errors went away after I got rid of the files, git cloned again, and ran it on a clean repo.
