Hi all. So I did it again, went int to customize and broke something. I
restarted Emacs, and when using M->, or in Gnus, moving through the list
of groups, the message in the subject occurs. Any ideas?
The way I get around that is by toggling linum-mode. Is there an old,
broken package somewhere that I may have installed?

Then you know what is causing the trouble. It could be in the code
you just wrote or something included.

Everything suggests that somewhere you wrote "linum-mode" where you
should have written "(linum-mode)", enclosed in parenthesis.
