Date: Mon, 18 Dec 2006 03:31:19 -0800 (PST) [thread overview]

Hello,
i have installed the precompiled binaries of
emacs+auctex on my windowsXP pc.
i also have the necessary miktex + gsscript + gsview
installed.
i am able to get the auctex menu in emacs. after some
configuration, i was also able to get yap as the
viewer for dvi rather than the default one.
but i am not able to preview latex. when i select the
menu command to preview the document (this happens by
keyboard command too), i get the error "error in
process sentinel: Latex found no preview images"
i have no idea about this cryptic message, please
help.
thanks,
minesh
