Let me see if I understand the logic of this strange creature called
"regular expressions":
"^" ;; match beginning of line
"\\|" ;; seperator for alternatives
"[\t ]" ;; match any of: TAB, SPACE
Am I correct?
I get confused by the way that emacs "escapes" metacharacters.
