Hello there,
I have got the color-theme.el in my load directory and I'm able to pick up a
color theme and install it by loading the library and then selecting a
theme in emacs. However when I put the
(load 'color-theme)
in my .emacs configuration file to install a theme permanently I'm given this error:
setq: Symbol's function definition is void: color-theme-filter
Sorry to bother you guys but I Googled it and it came up with nothing.
Regards
Hamid

I have the following at the end of my .emacs and it works fine.
;; Load the color-theme library and select a theme
(require 'color-theme)
(color-theme-wheat)
In the second line you can, of course, have any color theme.

You have (load 'color-theme). I am suggesting to put
^^^^
(require 'color-theme)
^^^^^^^
instead. Did you try that?

(load 'something) is incorrect syntax too. It's either (load something)
or (load "something"). With optional arguments.

hi
I start use color-theme.el. It's great thing but I have one problem
with it :( I make C-x 5 f (find-file-other-frame) or just M-x make-frame
and then I have my old face on new frame.
I try follow in my .emacs
(add-hook 'before-make-frame-hook
'(lambda ()
(color-theme-pierson)
))
but it dos't help.
Do I miss sth? thanks.
