Subject: How to set ignored pattern in ediff in emacs
Date: Fri, 3 Dec 2004 11:32:34 -0800 (PST)	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20041203193235.14626.qmail@web53910.mail.yahoo.com> (raw)

Hello,

I think emacs's ediff is a very powerful tool. :-)

But I am not sure if there a method to set ignored
pattern in ediff,
just like
diff -u file1 file2 -I "macro=[0-9]"
do

I have another small question:
Is there a way to specify file1 and file2 in command
line when launch emacs, else I have to input the long
filenames in emacs.

Thanks in advance
gan
