Hello

I use GNU emacs on both a terminal emulation session (QVT/Term) and on win2k. In windows, I have a disk mounted to a unix box. I used to have 2 separate .emacs files; one on the win2k system & one on the unix box. I wanted to combine them to make my life easier (not make changes twice). When I did so, ispell on the win2k version stopped working. Message buffer says:

Loading ispell...
check-ispell-version: Searching for program: no such file or directory, ispell

I updated my HOME environment variable on win2k to point to the new folder where .emacs resides.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Kevin

On the Windows machine, the "ispell" program is not in any of the
exec-path directories. Since it's initialized from your PATH
environment variable, check that.
