Hi to everyone,
I've downloaded code-pages.el from
ftp://dlpx1.dl.ac.uk/fx/emacs/Mule/lisp/international/
but when I try to bytecompile the file I get
Compiling file /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/code-pages.el at Mon Nov 3 17:47:48
2003
While compiling cp-make-translation-table:
** reference to free variable ucs-mule-to-mule-unicode
While compiling cp-make-coding-system:
** reference to free variable ucs-mule-to-mule-unicode
While compiling toplevel forms:
!! Symbol's value as variable is void ((ucs-mule-to-mule-unicode))
and I suppose it's wrong, since there is no code-page.elc in the site-lisp
directory. How to fix this problem?
Thanks,
Luca

Looks like you need the mule-ucs package, which may or may not be
included with the latest and greatest w3. At least the w3 documentation
should tell you where to find it.

No, he needs something like the ucs-tables.el or some such package
that should be found at the same place where he found code-pages.el.
