Just installed Mandrake 9.1 and can't get my old .emacs file to give me the
same fonts I had with Mandrake 8.1. I've tried editing
/etc/X11/app-defaults/Emacs which changes the background colour and
foreground colour but not the font. I've also tried the Customize menu
options without luck. How many ways are there of doing what should be so
simple? Sorry, I forgot. This is Linux/UNIX where nothing is meant to be simple.

So, how do I change the size/family of the Emacs font?
